- Technician confirmed the P2290 code, ICP Too Low. Engine has a miss, smokes when revved up with pressure slow to build when the truck is cold. Technician ran the engine for about 4 minutes then tried to restart the truck and it would not refire. The ICP is only building 300psi. Unplugged the module from the sensor and it would only build 250psi, this indicates a high pressure oil leak or IPR valve. Performed a high pressure oil test and heard a severe leak around the High Pressure Oil Pump area on the passenger side where the pump outlet is. Technician suspects the STC fitting at the pump is leaking or the pump itself is leaking.
