- Please check actual oil pressure with scan tool and report. More than likely the stepper motor for the oil pressure gauge has an issue. Performed a gauge sweep test and all gauge testing passes. Checked oil pressure with scan tool and it is reading 106psi just like the gauge is. Inspected sensor and wiring and found that the sensor is leaking oil through the top where the connector connects to sensor. Oil is contaminating the connection and eventually the oil pressure will blow the connector off or top of sensor itself. Needs new oil pressure sensor.
